Mental Hai Kya is an upcoming comedy movie directed by Prakash Kovelamudi. Produced by Ekta Kapoor along with Shobha Kapoor and Shailesh R Singh. Rajkummar Rao will be featuring in lead male actor in the film opposite to Kangana Ranaut who is the lead female actress in the film. The film Mental Hai Kya 2019 is co-produced under Balaji Motion Pictures and music rights are owned by Zee Music Company.Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut are working opposite each other for the second time. After 2014 film Queen Rajkumar Rao is happy to work with Kangana again. About Mental Hai Kya, he is happy with the story and to work with Ekta Kapoor as his favourite.
The movie screenplay was written by Kanika Dhillon who had written Manmarziyaan and Kedarnath earlier and both film screenplay is happy to work with Kangana Ranaut in the movie as she told to indianexpress. According to her, she was warned that it will not easy to work with Kangana. but that's all rumours and negative perception she said.
Mental Hai Kya Release Date: 26 July 2019
Initially, the movie was scheduled to be released in March 2019 and then its rescheduled to 21st June this year. Then again the release date changed to 26th July.Earlier in this year January, Hrithik's Super 30 was supposed to release on January 26 but the movie release was rescheduled on June 26 as Kangana's Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi was planned to be released on the same day 26th January. This time Kangana's Mental Hai Kya is again clashing with the release date again with Hrithik's Super 30.
